AYMETRA X / BUSINESS GUIDE

How to Choose a Marketing Agency in Egypt

If you are searching for the best marketing agency in Egypt, first define what “best” means for your business. An agency suited to an established store may not suit a business preparing its first campaign. This guide from the Aymetra X team provides a framework for comparing proposals; it is not an agency ranking.

1. Define the outcome before asking for a price

Do you need awareness, service inquiries, bookings or store orders? Prepare a brief describing the offer, audience, service area and available budget. Separate media spend from delivery fees. If the goal is inquiries, define a qualified inquiry: someone in the right area who needs the service and can be followed up. Follower growth is not a universal success metric.

2. Ask for relevant work and the agency’s role

Ask for relevant examples and clarify the original problem, the agency’s work, and the time period and budget measured. Distinguish demo designs from actual client campaigns. A return-on-ad-spend screenshot needs context: is it revenue or profit, and does it include returns and costs? Without a comparable case, consider a clearly scoped pilot rather than large promises.

3. Compare equivalent deliverables, not package prices

Check platform counts, content quantities and formats, who writes, designs and publishes, revision rounds, and whether campaign management, moderation and photography are included. Two equally priced proposals may cover very different work. Ask for management, media, production and tool costs to be separated, including how extra work is priced.

4. Keep ownership of your business accounts

Confirm who owns the social pages, ad accounts, domain, website and measurement tools. Your business should retain control, granting the team the access needed to work. Agree on file handover, reports and access removal when the engagement ends. Also assign responsibility for inquiry follow-up; campaigns cannot compensate for slow responses.

5. Ask for reporting that supports decisions

Useful reporting connects spending to your goal: qualified inquiries and their cost for services, or orders, revenue and costs for stores where data is available. Ask how measurement works, its limits and who reviews lead quality. Set review dates and a clear next experiment rather than relying on reach and likes. No agency can guarantee Google rankings or fixed sales for every business.

6. Send the same brief to the agencies you compare

Use this brief: “Our business is …; we serve …; our goal is …; our current channels are …; our ad budget is …; please outline deliverables, fees, timing, measurement and account ownership.” Compare the clarity of answers, business understanding and relevant examples, rather than the length of the service list. Choose a team that can explain its decisions and responsibilities.
